ABOUT DIGI BEATS
Digi Beats is designed for young people aged 12-24, with a focus on culturally diverse and First Nations youth. The program offers hands-on training in electronic music production, DJing, rapping, beat making, sound design and lyric writing.
Participants collaborate to create original tracks that reflect their personal stories, experiences and cultures, while developing practical skills and exploring global music traditions in a culturally safe environment. Each workshop is led by an industry professional and cultural mentors, with final tracks professionally mixed, mastered and prepared for release.
